Appalachian Clogging

Appalachian clogging is a dance style from the south-eastern USA e.g. Virginia, Carolina. It is a mixture of tap and clog dance, and derives from the culture of the Appalachian mountains, which has Irish, English, Scottish, African-American and native American elements.

The music is what Americans call “old-time”, and we are members of Friends of American Old-time Music and Dance.

You can see us, and other English and American teams in action on Youtube
